Wrath's End Update Guide

Wrath’s End landed on September 12, 2026 as Update 14.5 Part 4, the Wrathful Assault beat of Anime Vanguards. It adds a Sin-drafted Wrath Event, a new Battlepass Exclusive in Wrath (Assault), Apostles vs Vanguards, Team Battle PvP, five Wrath Coin familiars, summon path controls, placement previews, minigames, cosmetics, and fresh promo codes. Use this page as the mechanical checklist; for the wider patch timeline see the updates hub, and claim gifts on the codes hub before they rotate out.

Wrath Event and the seven Sins

Talk to the History’s Strongest NPC to enter a 15-wave event on Shining Castle (Normal or Hard). Red tiles mark no-placement zones—plan farms and carries before locking the draft.

Before wave one you choose one Sin for the entire match:

SinEffect
WrathHitting an enemy you already hit grants +50% damage for 30s, stacking without a listed cap
PrideOnly one unit on the field; it deals 5x damage, +50% range, and can place anywhere
GreedFirst non-farm upgrade locks that unit as your only upgrade target; every copy deals 4x and can pass normal max
LustSelling a fully upgraded unit refunds placement cost and leaves an unsellable copy
EnvyStrongest non-farm unit loses 30% damage; other non-farm units match that damage
SlothAll enemies move 30% slower
GluttonyFarms pay out a second time at the end of every wave

Every clear grants 3x Battlepass XP. Rewards 100 Wrath Coins on Normal or 200 on Hard (Hard enemies have 10x health). Spend coins in the Wrath Event shop on the five new Vanguard familiars, Trait Rerolls, Memoria Shards, Phoenix Shards, Elemental Shards, and Corruption Crystals.

Beginner tip: learn layouts on Sloth, then graduate to Wrath or Gluttony once placement is stable. Pride and Greed are high-ceiling drafts for optimized rosters, not first clears.

Battlepass: A Beast Plays and Wrath (Assault)

The Battlepass season reset with Wrath’s End. Progress from the previous track does not carry.

  • Tier 25A Beast Plays Memoria (exclusive pairing with Wrath (Assault))
  • Tier 50 (free)Wrath (Assault) Exclusive unit
  • Tier 50 (premium)Wrath (Assault) Shiny
  • Cosmetic Pass also reset; its Tier 50 skin is a Wrath (Assault) cosmetic

Farm BP XP through the Wrath Event’s 3x multiplier, dailies, and modes that count toward AV Arcade missions.

Wrath (Assault) kit summary

Wrath (Assault) is an Exclusive Curse unit built to power Evils teams:

  • Buffs Curse damage by 50% and Evils units by 80%, plus +50% Evils damage per different element on your unit bar
  • Places free once another Evils unit is fielded; upgrades itself when other Evils units upgrade
  • Attacks apply Despair and Destruction, strip shields, and punish enemies already taking DoT
  • When an Evils unit lands an elemental crit, 10% of that damage also hits every enemy in range; Wrath’s own crits make the next Evils attack crit
  • Active The Power of Friends takes an Evils unit’s next damaging active, multiplies it by 4, and hits the highest-HP enemy

Mind Control caveat: every 3 waves Wrath (Assault) turns against you as a Mind Controlled enemy, gaining +80% damage each time you defeat it. After you defeat it three times, it stops betraying you and gains 100% crit chance. Build enough burst to handle the betrayals or you will lose otherwise winning maps.

Apostles vs Vanguards

Successor to Vanguards vs Skeletons. Up to four players defend five lanes on Land of the Gods. Surviving all 25 waves pays 100 Wrath Coins. St. Itchas reacts from behind the lanes as flavor NPC commentary.

Key rules:

  • Tempest Pirate always occupies your first shop slot and drops self-collecting coin chests
  • Your other five slots rotate on a timer (or paid reroll); lock a slot to keep its unit until placed
  • Placement unlocks when wave 1 starts; dropping a unit onto a matching unit merges it up a tier
  • Outer lanes have guardians that can clear their lane once
  • Shop expands over time; bosses include Beast Pirate, Arin, and Lich Sovereign
  • Host can pause or speed to 2x / 2.5x; multiplayer pauses auto-end after 90 seconds
  • Top-down board view, merge-tier panel, and a built-in rules guide are available in the HUD

Draft merges intentionally—random placing without merge planning wastes economy.

Team Battle

New PvP matchmaking mode: you and an opponent each defend a base across the same 15 waves with 3 lives, ending in a final boss. Each match rolls modifiers, mutators, banned elements, and element damage multipliers visible on the ready screen. Wins count toward AV Arcade daily missions. Treat it as a rules-draft card game layered on tower defense—read bans before locking a mono-element team. For unit priorities after the patch, see the tier list.

Five Vanguard Familiars

All five cost 1,000 Wrath Coins each in the Wrath Event shop and are tuned to specific units:

FamiliarBound unitHighlight
Holy SwordSaber (King of Knights)Excalibur on placement; Crimson Moon follow-ups
Iron HelmetThe FalconSacrificed stacks; Unholy Transformation active
Blacksmith’s HammerThe Smith (Forged)Turns kit toward farm/damage; Hunter Quest active
Scrap BluntswordNotGoodGuy (Free)Dragon Install; reworked Hell
Witch’s StaffMedea (Witch of Betrayal)Oathbreaker; Dragon Fang Army summon

Buy familiars for units you already own and play. Blind-buying all five before finishing Battlepass Tier 50 is optional—coins also buy shards if your Memoria or familiar stats need rerolls.

Summon Paths, previews, minigames, QoL

  • Summon Paths — on multi-path maps, open Summon Path on a summoner to choose which lane new summons walk for the rest of the session.
  • Placement Previews — teammates see a ghost of your pending placement with your name; hover shows stats and range.
  • MinigamesMonarch’s Minefield (clear boards without mines) and Soundtrack Showdown (guess OST clips); both feed AV Arcade dailies.
  • Areas — star favorites and save up to six named custom spots.
  • Cosmetics — examples include Phantom Thief (Jester) Crimson Masquerade, Star Crusader (Platinum) Platinum Rearguard, plus effect updates for Divine General (Adaptation) and Graceful Pilot (Mecha).

Codes shipped with Wrath’s End

Redeem via Profile → Codes (full steps on how to redeem):

  • SummerLeaving — 100 Memoria Shards (Level 10)
  • AnniNextHopefully — 100 Trait Rerolls, 100 Memoria Shards, 5,000 Gems (Level 30)

Also try Prepare (1 Red Key, Level 30) if still live on your account, and ignore expired Part 3 strings like MiniUpd2 / Wrath / Retribution. Live table: codes hub.

Practical clear order

  1. Redeem Level 10 codes; push to 30 for the big Gem bundle.
  2. Enter Wrath Event on Sloth or Gluttony; learn red no-place zones.
  3. Stock Wrath Coins; decide familiar purchases vs shard sinks.
  4. Climb Battlepass to A Beast Plays, then Wrath (Assault).
  5. Practice Apostles merges and one Team Battle draft before spending premium resources.
  6. Re-check the tier list once Wrath (Assault) is online on your account.

Skip unauthorized automation—see the scripts hub ban warning. Legitimate XP and coins from Wrath’s End content already multiply progress when you play the new modes on purpose.
